You are to match cards on mahjong-like layouts. You can match either cards of the equal value or cards of the preceding or following value. The story of the game is related to the story of all Jewel Quests a lot. At least the characters are the same.
The story begins with Emma heading to Africa to find out what has happened with her husband (pretty close to the Jewel Quest 2, isn't it?). So as you proceed, you get more of the story. The game play itself represents a kind of a combination of the mahjong and match types of games. There are piles of cards on the board for you. The layouts may be absolutely various reminding mahjong style a lot. And the thing here is that the mahjong principle works here - you have to get rid of the top cards in order to get to the ones underneath. This adds a piece of a strategy to the game. You need to be careful in order not to get non-matching cards, like Queen, 6, and 3, left. The top cards are face-up and your task is to pair up all of the equal cards, like two 7s, for example, or cards of a preceding or following value, like 6 and 7. |
