Pirateville Game IntroPirateville - Hidden Object Pirate Quest

When I started playing this game and saw a couple of the screens, I could not be more sure: this game is by Nevosoft... Didn't even have to look it up in Google. Same impressive visuals, same dialogues and hidden-objects game principles as in Mysteriville game series and Magic Academy.

But Pirateville is really different. It is the first pirate-themed hidden-object quest.

Pirateville Game MapYou are to accept the role of Jack the Sharpshooter - a pirate who does not need to look for adventures as adventures always find him first. Jack accepts a mysterious box from his old friend. And this box turns out to hide trips, love and even meetings with ghosts.

As for the artistic value of the game, I should say it is rather high. Very colorful map, nice level graphics, eerie sounds, and melody that gives you a flavor of the old times when pirates where masters of the sea make this game a stand-out from the pile of cloned hidden object games.

So, you start your game by meeting your old friend in an inn scattered with different stuff. Every meeting begins with a lengthy dialogue, just like it was in Mysteriville.

Meting a Captain - PiratevilleIn order to read the phrases of each part, you will just need to click anywhere on the screen. Frankly, I got a bit tired of this click-n-read dialogues. To bring more "bucanner" flavour into the game, it would be better to have characters talk in real voices, rather than make a player read it all. In the end of every conversation a character will ask you to do something for him before he/she helps you. As a rule, you will be asked to find something. This is where hidden object part of the stage begins.

Just like in other hidden object games of Nevosoft, you will be asked to find the objects on the list- their names are written on the lists or you should recognize the objects by their contour and find them on the picture of the level.

Pirateville - Hidden Object LevelAfterwards, at the end of level, you will have to tackle spot-the difference puzzle. As a result, you will get what you wanted from the person.

Going from stage to stage you will be rambling about Pirateville and sailing to the faraway islands, meeting new people and solving their tasks. There are 33 stages total. Time limitation for each task is okay, but may seem to long for advanced hidden object hunters.

So, in case you have been missing hidden object game spiced up with pirate-flavoured adventure, Pirateville is what you've been looking for.
