A renowned mystery writer is invited to her alma mater to receive an award for her literary contribution. As Ms Duglas arrives at the university, she discovers the true reason of her summoning. The dean's intend was not only to honor her talent but rather to use her name in order to veil the rumors about the rector's recent unexpected death.
